Extracurricular

On December 2, 2015 I had the fortune of being elected as the Founding President of the Tau Iota Colony of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity - the international Jewish fraternity. I will remain as president until November 2016. My hope for AEPi is to create a Jewish culture at UT Dallas for young Jewish men and for all of Greek life. I would like to use our campus presence to raise awareness about the importance of Israel to the American people.

I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2012 after which I went on to serve for two years as the Camporee Chair for Northern Trail District, Circle Ten Council. During this time, I integrated an algorithm to sort all participating scouts by their age, rank, and troop number to discourage "super patrols" from winning every event and to encourage team building, friendship, and personal skills. To read more about my time as Camporee Chair, please see my resume located on the Professional page - a sub-page from the About page at the top.

During my sophomore year at The University of Texas at Dallas I had a hankering to learn how to play the saxophone. I borrowed a tenor sax from my cousin and taught myself how to play. Fast forward a few years and now I play alto and tenor sax as a guest player for Memri - a Dallas-based indy band.
